UK's first zero carbon church (site visit)

GCEJN extra meeting on Thursday 7th August at 7.00pm in Withington Parish Church, GL54 4BQ

Matt Fulford (picture) who was the brains behind the UK's First Zero Carbon Church at Withington gave members of GCEJN a conducted tour of the biomass boiler and PV cells. We had to split into two groups to see both installations since the stairways were very narrow and space was limited. There was also plenty of interest inside the main body of the church building.
